After years of complaints from the right about \u201ccancel culture\u201d from the left, conservatives, including many members of Congress, are now threatening and punishing those who have criticized Kirk\u2019s rhetoric after his death.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"726\" height=\"403\" src=\"https:\/\/www.halatomat.com\/thisweek\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Screenshot-2025-09-18-at-10.06.20-AM.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-91\" style=\"aspect-ratio:4\/3;object-fit:cover\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Brendan Carr, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) chair, expressing his Trump loyalty by wearing a bust pin of the president. According to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/climate-environment\/2025\/09\/15\/national-parks-slavery-information-removal\/\">Washington Post<\/a>, the&nbsp;National Park Service had been ordered to stop using the photo of a formerly enslaved man whose back is heavily scarred by whippings&nbsp;in its displays.
